CLEAR LAKE SHORES - 77565

Located northeast of Clear Lake City, Clear Lake Shores is known as the "Yachting Capital of Texas," housing more boat slips than residents. About a mile west of Galveston Bay, Clear Lake Shores is surrounded by water on three sides. This small community, originally a weekend retreat area, created water facilities after World War II allowing for permanent residences.
