SANTA FE – 77510, 77517

Sixteen miles northwest of Galveston in west central Galveston County, lays the small town of Santa Fe. Originally established after the Santa Fe Railway was built outside the area in 1877, the community of Santa Fe steadily grew. Incorporated on January 21, 1978, Santa Fe annexed the small towns of Arcadia and Alta Loma in the 1980s. Spanish for holy faith, Santa Fe, once a farming town is now a bedroom community for local refinery and plant employees.
